Is my WordPress dashboard haunted, is it a random number indicator? or is it all a just a bit of a lottery?
Since I published my post ‘Precious Gift’ on the 22 December about the children from Chernobyl, my dashboard has shown that I have been getting between 30-50 ’search engine terms’ on the subject each and every day, from people who have found their way to my blog using words or phrases linked to this topic; but not one of them appears to have read that post, that’s fine by me, but I was intrigued because I don’t usually get anywhere near that number of view for one topic and then, for not one of them to read the post, seemed a little odd. Then on Friday I got not views on this topic, not one, strange, then today I got 53 ’searches’ and everyone of them appears to have viewed the post; so come on learned people please explain this to me, how does it work?
Like most blogers I scratch my head and wonder how some one found their way to my blog, by asking Google the strangest of questions searches like ‘Salmon vomit’ just where have I written a bout that then? and because I write a lot about my ‘boys’, I get a lot of search terms, I really don’t want, so go away please, if that’s the sort of thing you are looking for, you won’t find it here.
But this Chernobyl scenario its a bit of a mystery.
