Any one who reads the emergency services blogs (you only need to look at my blogroll to see I fit in that category) will know their world is dominated by statistics and targets, but in amongst all the dross and the unattainable numbers that we read about; some figures stand out, as being attainable, but only if enough of us stick our hands in our pockets.
