What a wonderful surprise finding a silhouette waiting to be photographed ~ I like the ears standing at attention (on the dog ) and what a beautiful sunset. Your photos are excellent!

Re dogs ‘health and safety’ I did see a Stafford Bull Terrier, having sun cream applied to its ears and nose, outside a pub on Sunday, I think it was getting more attention than the kids.

yes its an amazin bond , my collie ran with me and my son tonight, 6 lovely miles and he was right with us all the way.
police dogs are very well trained and it must take a lot of time and patience to do it.
do the dogs have protective armour as well??

WEB, I think you may be seeing differently to the rest of us I don’t imagine Kevlar comes in ’slimfit’ (or comfortable for that matter) add to the bulk of the vest enough essential clip on bits and pieces to decorate a Christmas tree and you can never hope for ‘neat look’, but then given the risks… the alternative is not such a attractive option either.

The trouble with the body armour is that it makes you look larger than what you are, at least from the side, silhouetted against the horizon, on the side of a hill, in the fading light, especially with the effect the fading light has around the middle. None the less a great photo.
