We are off to a wedding this weekend; it’s so romantic, I’ve packed my waterproof mascara and some tissues and I am more than willing to be very sentimental about the whole occasion; the ‘groom to be’ is an university friend of Mr Uhdd and the ‘bride to be’ is his teenage sweetheart from that time, they split up when they were at Uni’ and went off into the world on different journeys, and now some three decades or so later they have found each another again* and it all feels right, it is just meant to be.
The ceremony is a Quaker one, something I’ve never been to before and knowing the groom, I am sure the reception venue will have been carefully selected for its draught beer and without a doubt there will music and dancing (which will delight Joe and I and embarrass Tom)
*Friends reunited had nothing to do with it, which is just as well as I think it has probably split up more couples than it has created

Have a good time and enjoy yourselves! xx
yep have a good wedding , presume they dont do the birdie dance at a quaker wedding ???
take your camera
Looking forward to hearing how it went…best wishes for a long happy life to the newlyweds
