Don’t try this at home, ‘Laid Back Runner’ demonstrates the effects of attempting a summersault whilst descending Ben Nevis during the Ben Nevis Fell Race last Saturday
Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England.
Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it!
I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing.
On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell!
Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.
I’d still like to know what happened to Fife runner who had blood all over his vest under his right arm, but no obvious injury…
Laid Back Runner (now I know which one he was) was going well when he passed the Cosmic support team. As was Mr Uhdd.
My other half went backside first into something that hasn’t washed out of his shorts. Must be a special kind of Nevis mud.

I don’t think I would dig too deeply for the origins of the ‘mud’ just a hot wash with bio powder!
