I was a little hampered by the chickens who came and perched on the bench by the pond with me, but after they cleared off (because I had no food for them) and all was still again, heads started popping up, a lot of heads, I’m not sure who was watching who.
Then Dandy the cat turned up the frogs disappeared into the depths of the pond again. Dandy didn’t follow, this time.
love the photos. i lived on the east coast of england in boston for half a year and got to enjoy some of the surrounding country. i just found this blog and love it already–reminds me of good times.

Aren’t these guys handsom? My mom has a little frog she named prince charming that moved into her meditation house (my old playhouse). He is quite adorable, he likes to sit on the pillows in there once in a while. He keeps the bugs down for her.
