This is Boris, he is very beautiful,
I have more photos to show you, but for now I can go to bed happy that I have managed to adjust, crop, copy and get a photo to this blog, having today unwrapped a copy of Lightroom photo editing software, it seems mightily sophisticated compared to what I have been using, I felt a tad over whelmed so I did what all grownups should do at such a time; ask a twelve year old to help, Joe was whizzing around the histograms, resetting the tone control and waving the adjustment brush, whilst I was still trying to read what to do, sigh.

I’m jealous. I want my very own peacock. I want to live close enough to my son to have his help with new software. I want the software.
Mostly I want the peacock. There is no evolutionary explanation for the glories of the peacock. Mama Nature was simply being self-indulgent.
Gerry a jug of peacock feathers might be the better option, I seem to remember when there was a peacock living in the village it was very vocal, you could hear it for miles! People were often heard to make threats to its welfare! (Boris isn’t ours I hasten to add!)
Nice Peacock!
Lightroom is a wonderful tool, I’m sure you’ll be loving it to bits very soon.
NiC I’m loving its potential already!
Boris is, indeed, very beautiful. You captured him well.
Take no notice of Boris….. he’s just showing off!!
Great to hear you’ve got the wraps off Lightroom. If you want some video tutorials have a look at “Lightroom Killer Tips” from the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.

They are also available free through iTunes podcasts.
I’ll do just that, I like video tutorials very much, my preferred way of learning. Joe was finding them for me on his new ipod touch (of which his big brother is very envious; little bro has been thrifty with his money and less into buying clothes than big bro.)
