Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England.
Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it!
I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing.
On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell!
Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

The primary portion of Wales that we saw was along the northern coast. It was spectacular. Not sure if that is where these photos are taken, but these are spectacular as well.
Working my way backwards on a Sunday, of course. I love these silvery photos. Very peaceful. Lovely to think of while spending an unexpected holiday in a nice hospital.

Beautiful! And the light is great – as the weather.

Uh oh! He’s not stuck in a Welsh hospital is he? Did he trip and tear/twist/pull/break something? I sincerely hope not.

Oh, dear! If anybody hurt himself, I thought it would be Spud, falling on his head from the couch!

I didn’t think to add ‘slice’ to that list. But that is definitely the right word for the injury. Yuck!
