Less Sky

Three birds

My three willing model birds, with less sky.

For the twitchers amongst you I also saw, great crested grebe, mallard, heron, wren and pied wag tails

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. Good picture and lucky you! xx

  2. Oh yes, it’s a really really beautiful picture now. I’d like to have it on my desktop, but last time I changed my desktop my son was furious. I had replaced a picture of him with … well, my favourite Bollywood actor. And I was made to change it back. I think he might be equally indignant about being replaced by some ducks! And of course, you might be indignant about having all those icons splattered over your beautifully composed picture. I would then be asking for the sky back to put them on!

Come on, join in.
