Bad Hair Day

A damp dandelion clock has a bad hair day

Damp dandelion

It’s a Bank Holiday here in the UK today, sadly the weather is a tad cold and damp.

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. Is a bank holiday the same thing that we call a three day weekend – when some holiday is celebrated on a Friday or a Monday instead of the actual day?

Nice hair – poor dandelion. 🙂

  2. Wonderful image! Dandelions, and daisies, have been noticeably prolific this year. xx

  3. Typical Bank Holiday weather, I managed a short ( hour and a half) dry walk with B Baggins but it was chilly. We saw lots of dandelions but most still bright yellow flowers. Yours is obviously ahead of the game – sorry:):)

Come on, join in.
