Don’t leave without me

It was very blustery yesterday and the seeds of next years weeds took to the air.

Don't leave with out me

Over at London, almost- Daily Nature Photo blog, there is a much prettier dandelion photo than mine

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. Goodness – black and white photograph and new theme, all on one day. Uhdd’s got spring fever. Don’t leave without us.

  2. What a terrific image and a clever title! xx

  3. More geometrical maybe but not prettier Uphill’….I really like this.

  4. I like yours much better, and I like the choice of b&w, too.

  5. I too prefer your dandelion. Leaving in such an orderly fashion, single file, as if there was a fire drill. Unlike school children shivering in the playground these seeds won’t be going back in afterwards. Next year’s weeds? And the children?

Come on, join in.
