Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. I would love to take my dogs to a dog show, but Buddy doesn’t do real well around new dogs. He was attacked by a mastiff and newfie (two different occasions a week apart) and by a friends dog, so he initially takes an aggressive stance with other dogs. Training hasn’t helped. Buster would want to show everyone who’s boss.

Wonderful shots, Uhdd. Love that Springer. Number 4 looks like the owners have their hands full. That last shot is really cool. I’ll definitely be back tomorrow. 🙂

  2. I took mine to a small show last year and had a great time, though since my JRT now has a problem with strange dogs thanks to another dog biting my Labrador, I think I might skip it this year. #4 was me at the vet’s!

  3. Number 1, and I like it’s flowery collar! xx

Come on, join in.
