Coast II

There is something special about the light down here in Devon (assuming the clouds part long enough to let the sun shine through, it is pouring with rain at the moment.)

and I do think you get a better class of rust at the seaside

since you ask, it’s mica schist, formed as the result of intense pressure and heat acting on the original rocks during a collision of tectonic plates.
