Puppy Love

Spud has arrived, there are a few things he’s not quite got control over yet, including his ears

Puppy love 5-2

The first night he was so quiet that I lay awake in the small hours, worrying that there was something wrong with him, not a whimper did he make. However he has been somewhat more vocal since! It really is like having a new baby in the house.

We are all besotted.

  1. Oh my, he is a sweetie, isn’t he! Of course, the Cowboy looks very sweet until you get to know him . . . OK, the Cowboy does not look all that sweet just now on account of having rolled in something vile and gotten his curly fur all full of pickers, but you know what I mean. He and Miss Sadie beg to inquire how they might acquire some nice boys to play with, as I seem to be very much preoccupied these days.

  2. I’m in love with Spud :-)…. he is absolutely gorgeous… enjoy his puppyhood… best years of your lives though it might not always seem like it when he starts chewing…lol

  3. Joss

What a gorgeous dog! And what a lucky dog to have found himself a family like yours. He is going to have such an exciting life. All the walks, all those people to meet, all those places to go! I hope he is up for it. He looks like he is ready for anything.

We are currently thinking about getting another dog. Just doing the research etc. I am now, of course, thinking of another springer spaniel!

  4. Oh my goodness – I am in love! Spaniels are my absolute favourite. I’m making do with an imaginary one though, until circumstances mean I can have a real one.

*sends a pat and a great big belly rub*
