Divine Curls

Little Miss H was on the beach today, I think her curls are divine.

Devine curls-2

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. What a beautiful head of hair.

My eldest has curls like that – try telling a teenage girl that they look great “au natural” and see the response you get. Talk about light the blue touch paper and retire.

  2. Once upon a time Rob the Firefighter had just one of those curls, nestled just so at the nape of his neck.

    Beautiful, tender image Mrs. Uhdd.

  3. Oh yes..these are absolutely lovely!! Oh…to have beautiful locks of golden hair!!!

  4. Take it from someone who has struggled and suffered with string-straight hair—-those curls are beyond divine! Absolutely spectacular. She must be very beautiful.

  5. Her curls are divine, Uhdd! I don’t think I’d be able to stop playing with them.

  6. I’m sure that you don’t mean Kate Humble! xx

  7. My hair was like that, once, a long time ago. It still curls in long corkscrews if I let it air dry after a wash, but alas, those curls are more silver than gold these days. Blessings on her little golden head. . . .

Come on, join in.
