Watching nature take its course, from the top of a hill in northern England

Wedding White

Whilst I’ve been busy Spring has made its self at home. We’ve had no rain for ages and warm sunny days, there are flowers in abundance.

I’m told there is to be a royal wedding tomorrow, in a household of men it is a matter that has raised  little comment, other than the fact Tom and Joe get an unexpected day off school. Tomorrow Mr Uhdd will have gone sailing, Joe to a paintball party and Tom will be with his mates, in either real time or cyberspace; I have many things to catch up on tomorrow, but curiosity will get the better of me, I’ll probably  tune in to see the bride arrive at church, if nothing else.

If you are waiting impatiently for the royal wedding, here is a taster, you might describe it as a dress rehearsal

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. Some of their “impersonators” are dead close in looks to the person they’re impersonating. Very fun.

  2. I saw this video last week and couldn’t believe how close in appearance ‘Camilla’ and ‘Prince Harry’ were.

I too live in a family of males so there’s little buzz about the nuptials. However, we’re early risers so we’ll likely tune in to see what’s up. Hopefully the weather will be good.

  3. Very cute. Any chance for a surprise of some sort in the ceremony?

  4. I watched one royal wedding and I’m not doing it again. Too emotionally exhausting.

  5. One more family of males here, – luckily I have my own little TV, which I have turned on right now….wow, it looks like millions of people are out in the streets to celebrate! Congratulations!

Come on, join in.
