Spud on Sunday Part XXVI

Tom and Spud, enjoying the green green grass of home

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. Lovely, just lovely. What an amazing view. 🙂

  2. There’s plenty of room to play, and that’s one heck of a view! xx

  3. Lucky dog, lucky boy.

  4. You got some rain! Green is very becoming.

  5. England’s green and pleasant land, indeed.

We’ve had enough rain here since Friday to top up the reservoirs for a bit, anyway, and it was much needed.

  6. Quality depth on the photo.

    • There is something very special about the light at this time of year, especially in the early evening, Mr Uhdd and I simply refer to it ‘as that time of year again’ and marvel at it. So delicious you could eat it with a spoon.

  7. Although your son may think the grass is greener elsewhere at times, the smells and sights of spring green will stay with him always…Spud is in his element 🙂

  8. Spud looks like he’s circling round ready to pounce!!

Come on, join in.
