Spud on Sunday Part XXXII

A very warm day, spud takes a cooling swim with his ball and the goldfish, who are totally unperturbed him.

Cooling Swim -1

(I suppose this counts as Spuds second post this week.

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. Is he in contention for the Olympics?

  2. He looks like a great swimmer. I love the way you caught the goldfish too.

We’re dealing with a dog who has various water dog breeds in him who is afraid of the water unless there is a duck luring him in.

  3. Beautiful Spud and picture !

  4. Oooh that looks lovely. I fancy swim a myself. It’s soooo hot today. Apparently our ‘heatwave’ is due to last only two days.

  5. That water looks inviting. . . I think Spud has the right idea.

  6. Lucky boy!

Come on, join in.
