Spud on Sunday Part XXXXIII

Spud  the dog relaxing with his boys, he’ll lie draped like this for hours, then when he’s had enough, he just slithers onto the floor like a snake.

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. Hey, perhaps he is the one sitting upright and it is all of the others who are upside down. I love that he is just one of the guys.

  2. I agree – one of the chaps eh? Great xx

  3. Egads, that makes my head hurt just looking at it! But Spud must be comfy, surrounded by his favorite guys!

  4. I’m going to take a mad stab in the dark and guess some sort of sporting event was on the goggle box? Great title for a film, though … “Three men and a dug”!

  5. Wonderful, talk about just hanging out! xx

  6. We had a cat who used to do exactly the same thing. Her real name was Jester (we called her Slinky Cat) but she certainly lived up to her given name! I love Spud, by the way – he’s such a cool dog!

  7. I have a dog who does EXACTLY this!

Come on, join in.
