Watching nature take its course, from the top of a hill in northern England

A Week in Wales

Staying at  Capel Curig, in the heart of Snowdonia

A week in Wales-1

Beautiful at dawn or dusk

Snowdon -1

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. Amazing photos of this wonderful landscape.

  2. LOVED Wales, I had no idea it was so beautiful. We didn’t get into Snowdonia, will have to return, thank goodness.

  3. Must return – there is more to Wales than a tent blowing away in a field in Tenby!

  4. I am always astonished at the variety and drama of the landscapes you show me. No wonder you manage to find places for so many princes and princesses and such.

  5. It looks like a more rugged home from home! xx

  6. Gorgeous, of course! Didn’t make it to Wales when I was over there — now it’s definitely on the schedule for the next trip!

  7. Wow! Stunning photos. I have always wanted to visit Wales.
