Spud on Sunday Part XXXIIII

So it is Monday,  this post is late, we were unavoidably delayed. It’s Mr Uphilldowndales leg that hobbled us.

Here is Spud climbing trees in Wales

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. My weekend is complete! Spud moment!

  2. Excellent. Spud just outright enjoys his life. That’s a lovely thing.

  3. He sure doesn’t want to be left out of things does he! xx

  4. I think you should publish a book, called ‘Just Spud’.

  5. Quite versatile is Spud — truly a dog for all seasons.

  6. A tree-climbing dog. Is there anything that he will not try?

  7. I admire Spud’s zest for life, and wish I had half his energy!

  8. I did look at the wound on the previous post but had to quickly look away…my sympathy to Mr. UHDD and I hope he is able to mend before too long without excessive pain. It’s definitely a doozy!

Now Spud is such a character. He seems to have no idea that he is a dog, which is wonderful…he can be anything his heart desires. We should all have such confidence 🙂 Of course, then we might end up in the Dr.’s office…

  9. I had this sudden image of Spud, high in the branches of a tree, deciding he didn’t know how to get down–followed by an image of you calling the fire department for help getting your dog out of a tree . . . It made my whole morning,

  10. Spud, you are very adventurous ! Be careful though, someone in your home just had a bad accident recently… My best wishes to you for getting down that tree safely and for Mr. UHDD to recover quickly and fully. Lovely photo !

Come on, join in.
