Spud on Sunday Part LXXI

Spuds idea of help in the garden,

this dog has no respect for my flowerbeds, which is why I have a tulip in a bud vase on my desk, salvaged from Spuds rampage through the the borders.

Of course he’d tell you that ‘butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth’!

Edit, from Glo, a very special  Easter Spud on Sunday, thank you Glo!

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. You know what would be really funny?
If Spud imagined he was the Easter Bunny!

    Happy Easter Spud and family!

  2. Thank you Glo, that made us all laugh, and we needed that this week! I’ve edited the post to include your handiwork…

  3. Happy to bring some laughter and thanks for editing the photo into you posting~ Oh, and by the way, the reason the Easter eggs are falling out of Spud’s basket…is because of the excess of tennis balls in the bottom of it! 😉

  4. Just the post to cheer me on this dull, wet morning! xx

  5. That is hilarious. All of it. Oh, Spud, you are such a boy.

Come on, join in.
