Spud on Sunday Part LXXV

We’ve no cows in clover, but we  do have a surfeit of dandelions

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. Wonderful photos, I especially like the first one. xx

  2. This one of Spud made me smile!

  3. I believe Spud is growing up. He looks . . . thoughtful. Perhaps he has an inkling that we lounge in lush meadows only too briefly. Or perhaps he’s just wondering if he’ll ever be able to find that darned ball. I expect that’s it.

  4. Perhaps Spud can come lie in my dandelions so that I have a believable excuse for not cutting the grass 😉
He looks so pretty and at home there.

  5. Spud is a handsom dog 🙂

  6. Very aristocratic looking Spud.

  7. He does indeed look content, and as photogenic as ever 🙂

  8. He seems so sweet. I will bet that it is quite difficult to find a yellow ball in that field of dandelions. Even if dogs are really color blind.

  9. absolutely love these.. : )

Come on, join in.
