In the dew drop world of spiders webs.

Spider web 2

I’m particularly impressed by the ‘stich-in-time’ running repair to this one.

The morning had an  autumnal feel to it.

It was cool, crisp and misty.

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. Those spider webs are amazing. And that morning must have been wonderful.

  2. Silken threads of spidery ingenuity! I like the darning job as well 😉 Yes, misty days here as well ~ but summer will be back 🙂

  3. Wonderful photos, spider’s webs are so fascinating. xx

  4. I, too, feel the days slowly drawing in. We’re in the 90’sF/30’sC here, and yet I’m beginning to feel the urge to snuggle in someplace and knit something.

  5. We left for Iceland in the middle of the heat wave, and now we’ve come back it’s just …. like Iceland was. Vest and pop sock weather! With the occasional moment of sun, like now for example. I’m off!

Come on, join in.
