Watching nature take its course, from the top of a hill in northern England

Time and Tide Part I

Last weekend we went to pick Joe up from university in Swansea, we took the campervan, and stayed for a couple of nights on the Gower peninsular, staying at Picton Cross campsite. We loved the beach at Rhossili Bay

Do I need to tell you how much Spud the dog enjoyed himself?

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. What a gorgeous location! Spuds and I could be very happy here, great photos too!

  2. Oh yes! A fabulous beach for a happy dog to play on 🙂

  3. You are having an awful lot of fun with that campervan! The beach is beautiful. Miss Sadie and the Cowboy are envious. There is nowhere near as much sand on their beach. We will make do.
