Lack of Communication

Telephone box_

A month since I last posted, my thoughts, like this telephone box could do with a bit of weeding. It’s happened before, so I know the first post after a break is the hardest,  I just need to get in the groove again.

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. I just checked, four months since my last post! Thank you for the reminder, I look forward to reading your next 🙂

  2. It’s so good to see you again. We haven’t forgotten you, at all. And that weedy Tardis is hilarious. Hard to fly off wtih all of those roots around!

  3. I hope you do regain your mojo as I always enjoy your posts.

  4. I make a point to post at least once a month. Then that often turns into two or three.

But hey, no reason not to keep going, even if less frequently than in the days before “social media.”

  5. I agree with Tootlepedal! Enjoy the weekend. xx

  6. Love this picture and your thoughts. This image reminds me of a movie (Irish ? English) about a telephone box which flew off into the sea. If I remember well it was about a man who had won money at a lottery; he died without knowing it and someone else tried to get the money….

Come on, join in.
