It’s been a while since I posted, we’ve been on our travels, we’ve been winding our way along the single track roads the Outer Hebrides, off the west coast of Scotland
It’s a very beautiful part of the world, with dramatic landscapes, and the most exquisite white beaches
and turquoise seas.
I’ve places to share and tales to tell, oh, and quite a few photos to edit.
I was parked in a passing place for a very short while yesterday and as always worried slightly about whether I was going to die while there.
At the hands of an irate local, or under a passing truck?
It was on a deserted upland road. I was just thinking about passing away quietly of natural causes. I have always thought that this is what passing places are for.
Never in my life would I have imagined that sand! I’m eager to read more about your travels. I know a blogger who was raised in the Outer Hebrides, and she’s compelled to return often.
The sand is comprised of ground seashell, that’s what gives it its brilliance. I can imagine, its the kind of place that never leaves your blood.
Lucky you. Lovely pictures, I look forward to more along with some tales. xx
