Lock-down musings

I hope wherever you are it isn’t feeling too claustrophobic.

Today I’ve been considering if snails can reverse? I know slugs can hop

Watching the rhythm of rural life, from the top of a hill in northern England. Having spent most of my life avoiding writing, I now need to do it! I am no domestic goddess, but if I were expecting visitors to my home, I would whisk round with the duster and plump up the cushions and generally make the place look presentable. I hope that by putting my words where others may see them it will encourage me to ‘tidy up and push the Hoover around’ my writing. On the other hand I may just be adding to the compost heap. Only time will tell! Pull up a chair, sit yourself down, I’ll put the kettle on.

  1. I’m glad to have a bolt hole like this today. There’s a very cold wind outside. Glad I made the most of the garden yesterday. It was uncomfortably hot then. Weird climate we have here.

  2. Thankfully my flat was built in the 1930’s so it has plenty of elbow and head room unlike modern day builds. xx

  3. We are unbelievably lucky here.

  4. Come to somerset my dear, we have less virus than the Scottish highlands and a better accent to boot.

Come on, join in.
