Now wouldn’t a little miniature peacock, in all it’s colourful glory, that would sit in the palm of your hand be adorable? I’m sure milliners would pay a handsome price for the feathers, I can see a gap in the market
I saw some more baby peacocks at the weekend. Some Cosmics were on our way to a race when the idiot driver we’d been following suddenly anchored on in the middle of the road. We forgave him when we saw mummy peahen and her four fluffy babies emerge from under his front bumper.
That first shot is fantastic, I really like it. Talk about a family portrait!

I thought peacocks just magically appeared fully grown, like pigeons. But no, they have ickle baby vulture impersonating wee ones.

I like that second photo, where because of the lack of colour I tend to look closer at the detail! xx
I like how it looks like they are reading the sign – clever birds. Great photos – thanks for sharing.
Excellent shot of the birds with the sign.
Nice one.
Loving the little one’s mini mohecan (spelling??)!!
Oh my, I love the whole post, such a curious little baby . . . I’ve never seen a baby peacock before. Good job, Mrs. Uhdd.
Does the hard-working, though somewhat drab peahen have a name or is it Boris & his peahen?
I’ll see if I can find out.
Such a cute little chick! I love how mother is giving her chick a lesson at the sign – too cute.
