We’ve been away, to Ireland, we’ve been driving the Wild Atlantic Way (well part of it, its a long route, and there is a lot to see). The first thing to do in Ireland, is to slow down, there is no need to go anywhere in a hurry.
As the farmer said ‘Cows only have one gear’. (Unless of course they are ‘knocked out of gear’, then anything is possible and usually unstoppable).
Taking the cows back to the field after morning milking, County Clare.
I am glad to see that the cows seem to have good brake lights.
I know just a bit about cows, but I must say I’ve never seen a breed with those pink — uh — whatevers. Is that a mark like a brand, or part of the cows’ anatomy?
I’ve always assumed the tape is added, to indicate the cattle have had (or need) the attention of a vet, AI or bull!
Cows have two gears, slow when they want it andvery fast when they are after you if you have a small dog and they have calves. Very deceptive and much more dangerous than they look, which is quite cool, James Bond take note.
Cows of all shapes and sizes need to be respected!
